The Russian Revolution shook the world in many ways.  The events, places, and personalities involved in these historic events continue to shape and inspire voluminous amount of published materials in multiple formats and languages. As one of the largest collections in North America, the University Library is home to unique collections of vernacular language materials, which capture this revolution (past, present, future) in the printed word. The University Library exhibit draws from collections of materials related to the 1917 revolution and reverberations through the decades following 1917 in a global context.  Visitors can view relevant sources, archival materials, coverage in newspapers and journals, memoirs, and official narratives of those days that shook the world.
